A lifetime resident of Tompkins County, Mike grew up in the City of Ithaca and graduated from Ithaca City Schools. Since then, he has lived all over Tompkins County and has traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally. Although he enjoys traveling and meeting people from all over the world, Ithaca remains “home” to him. Michael raised his two wonderful daughters here and knows that Ithaca is not only a great place to live but a great place to raise children as well. His wife, Casey, is from the area as well and, in addition to being an NYS Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, she works at Cornell University. Michael’s lifetime spent in Tompkins County and knowledge of its past and present is a valuable asset for anyone relocating to or within the area. Michael has had extensive sales experience. He spent seven years in retail sales and fifteen years as an independent businessman in an Ithaca-based manufacturing/distribution business (with all the requisite sales and service aspects), before becoming a real estate agent. Michael has detailed knowledge of house construction, building codes, and the regulations involved in building a home in New York State. He designed and built his current residence, so his knowledge is really hands-on!! Michael has been a New York State licensed real estate agent and a member of the Ithaca Board of Realtors since 2002. His listings and sales over the years have covered the spectrum from undeveloped land to commercial properties, from single-family homes to multi-million dollar lake-front homes.
