Congratulations are in order for Warren Real Estate agent CJ DelVecchio! CJ has just completed the New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) ‘Instructor Training Institute’ program, which has earned her a new designation as an Instructor with the NYS Association of Realtors.
CJ is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with Warren Real Estate, and she has been active in the business for over 17 years! For the past 2 years, CJ has been teaching real estate courses and specializing in the Code of Ethics. She is very active with her local real estate association, currently serving as the State Director, and has chaired a number of committees for the NYSAR including Professional Standards, Legislative Steering and the Information Management committees.
From the NYSAR Instructor Training Institute website:
The Instructor Training Institute is a three-day intensive program that helps develop and enhance skills for real estate instructors. Participants learned how to deliver information in the most meaningful ways to meet the needs of a diverse audience. It included hands-on training with 2 presentations which were videotaped and evaluated for their effectiveness and learning. Also included training on how to create and organize content, develop learning objectives, incorporate participatory activities and use visual aids to create effective learning experiences.
This course satisfies the NYS Department of State requirement for “formal training in organizing and presenting instructional material” in order to become approved to teach real estate continuing education.
CJ is currently working as a Mentor for NYSAR in a new program that was developed to work with real estate agents who are new to both the business and the Association of Realtors. She looks forward to using her new ITI designation in training fellow agents in various real estate topics!
